The National Committee of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (RCSHU) announces a competition for the position of Specialist in communications and administrative issues

Main duties:

• Collection of detailed information from of regions on emergency response and the activities of Rapid Response Units
• Preparation of presentations for meetings with partners and for internal use
• Management of social networks of Rapid Response Units: creation of posts, selection of photos in coordination with the relevant unit of the NC
• Promotion of the activities of the Emergency Response Service of the TRCH: writing announcements, proposals for journalists, creating advertising content
• Development and management of information campaigns aimed at finding new volunteers and/or popularizing the activities of the Emergency Response Service.   
• Working with presentation materials for speakers and partners.   
• Communication with project coordinators, departments of the Red Cross of Ukraine to form and collect information.   
• Preparation of reporting on communication work regarding the activities of the ZSR for partners, donors and other interested parties. 

• Higher education.
• Experience of working in public organizations or a humanitarian organization.
• Experience of managing social networks (Facebook, Telegram, Instagram).
• Experience of communication with different categories of people, tact and diplomacy.
• Knowledge of MS Excel software Skills of working with summary tables, Excel databases, using e-mail and Internet, MS365 (Teams, Planner, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience with database management systems and visual reporting components (including AirTable, PowerBI, Canva).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and succinctly convey complex andinformation.
• Fluent oral and written command of the Ukrainian language.
• Proficiency in English will be an advantage.
• Ability to cooperate and work in a team.
• Ability to make decisions will be an advantage.
• Experience of cooperation with partners/contractors, local organizations.
• Ability to apply non-standard/innovative solutions in work.
• Ability to build trust.
