As a  Solution Architect , you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution with a dedicated Cyber Security department. This project involves enhancing and streamlining their vulnerability management systems, integrating vendor scanning tools, and expanding services on Kubernetes. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring secure development practices, reviewing change requests, and supporting the engineering team in delivering robust and compliant solutions.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Extensive experience in information security and IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability
• Strong expertise in cloud technologies and integration with on-prem data centers, particularly Kubernetes and GCP
• 5+ years of experience owning and developing application and service architectures, including CI/CD pipelines
• Good experience in developing and maintaining functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with a Business Analyst
• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization
• Good understanding of SDLC foundations and software delivery, including DevOps and DevSecOps culture
• Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions
• Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business acumen, and commercial outlook

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Security Scanning tools and platforms, including Nessus, Nessus IQ, Checkmarx, and Netsparker, Aquasec
• Knowledge of Vulnerability Scanning Capabilities (MAST, DAST, SAST, IAC, FOSS/SCA, Cloud, Infrastructure)
• Proven experience in managing large datasets and complex data pipelines
