Software Test Engineer (Python) in Materialise

We’re seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Software Test Engineer (Python) to join Materialise. In this role, you’ll be part of an international team of passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference in the world of medical innovation Responsibilities: —Extend and maintain Python test framework for test automation. —Handle and maintain Python-related test automation process. —Create functional tests with afocus onUI interaction (familiarity with PyQT isaplus). —Perform manual acceptance/regression testing. —Perform bug registration and verification ofresolved bugs. —Create test documentation byestablished procedures. —Perform manual regression testing, functional (according tofunctional TPs) and non-functional (performance, exploratory). —Participate inplanning/grooming sessions, and provide estimations for delivery-scoped and tech tasks. Requirements: —2+years ofexperience inwriting custom test frameworks. —Atleast anUpper-Intermediate level ofEnglish. —Experience inAPItesting, and automated testing. —Good knowledge ofwriting automated test scripts using Python. —Experience with bug-tracking systems. —Functional and non-functional testing experience (e.g. regression, integration, security, performance, UAT, smoke, etc.). —Understanding ofSDLC inanAgile environment. —Attention todetail, sense ofcuriosity, willingness totake responsibility and show initiative, proactive person. —Good knowledge ofdifferent testing methods and techniques. —Experience indesktop testing isconsidered abenefit. —Experience inmedical, CAD, and image processing software testing isconsidered abenefit. —Experience with PIL/Pillow oralternatives considered asabenefit. —Experience with testing applications, created usingQT isconsidered abenefit.
