The ideal candidate will have experience working inasoftware services organization, with software engineering technologies and processes, aswell asexperience working inaglobal organization. They must possess proven leadership skills and beaself-starter, with astrong desire tocollaborate with and grow others inthe organization. Organizational and Change Management skills are essential asare qualities ofagility and decisiveness. Responsibilities include working with the operations team onmatters ofstaffing, logistics, project management, customer engagement, invoicing and finances, aswell asgrowth and management oftechnical staff. Essential Duties &Responsibilities: —Recruit, interview, and hire Software Engineering staff.Communicate job requirements torecruiters and vendors for Software Engineering candidates —Review and monitor engineering staff assignments and available capacity. —Coach staff members inmatters ofpersonal/professional development (e.g., training). ——Coach and mentor engineering services staff todeliver excellence incustomer service. —Establish clear measurable goals and objectives bywhich todetermine individual and team results (e.g., operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge ofoperational roles and responsibilities, personal development goals). —Solicit ongoing feedback from Business Unit, peers and team member onteam member’s contribution tothe team. Provide ongoing coaching and counseling toteam member based onfeedback. —Express pride instaff and encourage them tofeel good about their accomplishments. —Assess current processes for efficiency, recommend and drive process improvements, measure effectiveness ofimprovements and keep process documentation updated. —Provide weekly communication forum for the exchange ofideas and information with the department. —Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use anappropriate business style. —Assess communication style ofindividual team members and adapt own communication style accordingly. —Collaborate with members ofour Business Development Team indeveloping and improving our customer engagements through the identification and onboarding ofqualified software resources. —Develop athorough understanding ofservices weprovide toour customers and the processes bywhich weengage customers and provide such services. —Work with staff resources toassess and improve the quality ofservices weprovide toour customers. —Have acomplete understanding ofsoftware development processes and practices regarding SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) aswell astechnical processes (e.g., DevOps, CICD, source code management) from requirements through build, release and delivery. Education &Experience Requirements: —Bachelor’s Degree required. —Degree inComputer Science orManagement Information Systems. —Five (5) toseven (7) years work-related experience required inarelevant software engineering position and aminimum of3years’ experience inasupervisory ormanagement role within asoftware engineering organization. —Atleast 5years’ experience working inaGlobal Enterprise organization. —Atleast 5years’ experience working inaSoftware Engineering Services organization. —Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
