Software Engineer (Web Backend: Python+Django) in AMTOSS

Project Description

Brand new full-cycle management system for the bulk aggregate and logistics services market in the USA. The SaaS platform provides advanced flow for ordering and delivery of bulk aggregate and asphalt materials.

Mandatory requirements/skills:

• Python programming language (3+ years of experience);
• Django web framework (2+ years of experience);
• Adequate experience with REST API and DRF;
• Understanding DB design to develop/update models;
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Python code;
• Ability to develop unit tests and perform basic testing;
• Support the culture of mutual code review;
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Docker-compose;
• Result-oriented teamwork and communication.

Desired requirements/skills:

• Knowledge of React.js or similar frontend framework;
• Experience with automated testing tools like Postman;
• Respect to the Lean/Agile process;
• Ability to estimate a task before developing it;
• Experience with peer code review;
• Desire to broaden the skills range to become a technology-agnostic software engineer.
