Quick Score is an award-winning SMART scoreboard technology company based in the UK. We are a sports start-up company that launched in 2016 with a single sport cricket scoring solution, but we have grown steadily and expanded our business globally.

We now provide scoring solutions for 12 sports and our product is used in 9 countries.

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with a passion for building quality software, hiring, mentoring, and leading our Indian-based software development team.

What you’ll do:

Determine all technology requirements of the company and prepare appropriate growth and development plans.

Coordinate with various business units and develop ways to improve the efficiency of all projects and supervise all aspects of technology architecture.

Establish service level requirements and ensure compliance with all SLA for projects.

Administer all computer operations, provide support to all production systems, and ensure compliance with all company guidelines to develop various improvement programs.

Develop and maintain a professional relationship with all service providers and IT teams and provide technical expertise on the same.

Develop, execute, and maintain achievement of all departmental goals and objectives.

Prepare and implement department budgets and design test discovery recovery plans to provide continuous growth.

Maintain knowledge of all industry trends and perform research on various product portfolios.

Monitor competitive businesses and processes, assess market requirements and prepare strategies accordingly.

Utilize a proven understanding of software applications and infrastructure architecture through production implementations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain an understanding of various deployment methods and tools and write scripts and/or procedures for efficient processes.

Propose solutions within the expectations of common architectural principles.

Write unit tests and perform integration testing to ensure high-quality applications that meet business requirements.

What you’ll bring:

5+ years of professional software development experience

3+ years of experience building applications on iOS/Android platforms

Strong understanding of software design and development principles

Expert-level understanding of Swift, Node JS

Solid background writing automated unit tests

Ability to provide constructive and objective feedback

Provide production support in on-call rotation

Experience interacting with Socket API and data formats like (JSON, XML...etc)

Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

Experience using Source Control (Git)

Passion for mobile user experience and design

Self-motivated, productive, and works well even with/without formal structure

Enjoy collaborating with others, both inside and outside the team
