About the team:
The Retail Applications Department consists of a team of approx. 400 experts IT enthusiasts and specialists responsible for creating and developing modern solutions in banking.
We are a "software house with a banking license" - we also modernize older applications or replace them with completely new solutions using the latest technologies, including cloud solutions. It is in our department that we maintain and develop a wide, integrated mojaING ecosystem, which is used every day by several million individual customers of our bank.
We have new project initiatives ahead of us, hence we are looking for experienced Managers who will manage one of the teams and give further direction to the development of our applications:
- Tribe Daily Banking – we develop solutions for individual clients in the area of everyday banking. By implementing applications in the cloud, we offer our clients modern payment solutions (BLIK, instant transfers) and a financial management strategy.
- Tribe loans and insurance – we work on solutions for individual clients in the area of credit and insurance, we develop applications for loans, mortgages and insurance. We use artificial intelligence and machine learning to offer customers even better credit products.

Our expectations
- higher technical education, preferred IT
- minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial/leadership position in the area of software development, preferably in an extensive and diversified work environment
- experience in effective management of a software development team (preferred Java technology)
- extensive knowledge and understanding of information technologies
- availability to work in a hybrid model and business trips (min. 3 days a month of work in Katowice)
- experience in working with various IT architectures and solutions and understanding IT security issues
- experience in cooperation with internal and external clients
- leadership skills, influencing and motivating the team
- proactive attitude and a great sense of responsibility for the assigned tasks
- resistance to stress and the ability to efficiently adapt to a changing environment
- good knowledge of English
- experience in working with various methodologies (including agile, e.g. Agile)
- knowledge of the COBIT methodology
