About the role :
Reporting to Lukasz Dospial for Financial Instruments Platform , the Software Development Engineer will work as a full stack developer to bring exciting features to our customers and will maintain them in production. As a Software Development Engineer candidate will help guide the technical direction of our backend services and UI for internal tools to ensure that we are moving quickly while adhering to engineering excellence.
You have:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
- A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience as a software developer
- Understanding of software development practices, system design, software
- Design patterns, and algorithms
- Familiarity with 2 programming languages or more from Java, Kotlin, Go, PHP and eager to learn
- Familiarity with data storage technologies
- Familiarity or interest in learning about operations, especially Kubernetes and AWS
- You have an ability to collaborate and work with application developers and product managers
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in distributed systems, preferably in Java or Golang, and preferably with microservices architecture. You are someone who has mentored junior engineers and presents top-notch debugging skills and awareness of software best practices. Experience in AWS is a plus.
