General information: We develop software products for the American company "Rocket Software, Inc", a well-known software supplier, an IBM partner for creating software products for IBM mainframes. They are participants (residents) of the "Diya-city" program. It's time to add to our development team for the main Db2 Tools products. Testing of all products is automated, so we need people who are able to deal not only with manual testing, but mainly with writing automated tests using the Python language. A mandatory requirement for this vacancy from the end of the customer is that the work must be performed from the territory of the European Union. Accordingly, the candidate must either already be in the territory of the EU country, or have legal opportunities for relocation. Relocation costs are covered by the company. Our European office is located in Warsaw, but you can work remotely from another city in Poland. Remote work from other EU countries may also be considered. Responsibilities: Remote work as part of an international team on software products 'Rocket Software' in the field of IBM Db2 tools. An additional developer is needed for a team working on one of IBM's complex and responsible software products. This product is used by the world's leading banks, insurance companies and industrial groups to ensure the continuity of IBM Db2 databases. Development of automated tests for one of the important and responsible products from the DB/2 Tools line, analysis of test results, search for "weak places" in the software. Mandatory requirements: Ability to program, create automated scripts, Python programming language; Experience in software testing Experience in working with relational databases; Proficiency in English at a level sufficient for conducting regular work correspondence; Responsibility and punctuality in work. Will be a plus: Experience working with Jira, GIT; Having experience working with operating systems of the Unix family Having experience working with tools for automating the development and testing process (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.); The level of English sufficient to communicate with colleagues on professional issues.
