What will you do?
Search, identify and manage cases of children who are in difficult life circumstances, at risk of violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation in accordance with vulnerability criteria/accept referrals from other institutions and community members.
Coordination of service provision in cooperation with the family and involved services (social, educational, medical, psychological, legal).
Involvement of the child at all stages of social support.
Documentation of cases and reporting in accordance with the requirements of the project and the standards of the donor (drafting of the necessary documentation, formation of cases and the list of recipients of aid packages in accordance with the assessment of needs, timely reporting on the work performed, management and storage of case management documents in accordance with the data protection and information exchange protocol).
Interaction with the interdisciplinary team and participation in supervisions.
Ensuring compliance with the principles of confidentiality, "Do No Harm" and Safeguarding / PSEA.
Timely identification of risks and response to cases of violence, neglect or exploitation of children.
Preparation of the child and family for the completion of social support and case closure.
What do we expect from you?
Full employment - 100% (in the office and trips to locations).
Higher education in social work, psychology, pedagogy or related technical fields.
Experience of working with children and families in vulnerable life circumstances from 2 years will be an advantage.
Knowledge of the principles of child protection and case management.
Completed training from Save the children in the field of case management - will be an advantage.
Experience working with vulnerable populations and in humanitarian or development projects will be an advantage.
Understanding Child-Centered Approaches and Trauma.
Ability to work with documentation and meet deadlines.
Work experience Knowledge in the field of child protection in emergency situations, children's rights, programming and integration of children's participation.
Commitment to and understanding of children's rights, BCRD goals, values and principles, as well as humanitarian standards such as the Sphere manual and Code of Conduct.
Ability and skills to conduct child-friendly interviews, conversations, communication skills and assessment of child protection needs.
Ability to adapt to changing program priorities and emergencies that may arise.
Responsibility, organization, sociability, ability to work in a team.
Digital literacy for maintaining documentation and working with databases. Computer skills (MS Office, Internet, social networks).
Taking into account the peculiarities of family upbringing from the standpoint of equality and non-discrimination.
Competent spoken and written business Ukrainian language.
