Social worker in Potribni Tut, GO

Public organization "Needed Here" in partnership with AVSI is starting the implementation of the PROMO project, aimed at supporting vulnerable categories of the population and community development. We are looking for a motivated person in the team who is ready to become a support for those who need it most.

Purpose of the position: Provision of social services on the basis of case management, preventive, informational and support work for individuals and families belonging to the vulnerable groups, helping to overcome difficult life circumstances, socializing children and developing social initiatives within the project.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Carrying out social and preventive work with individuals/families belonging to vulnerable population groups.
• Providing social services using case management technology.
• Referral of service recipients to other institutions or through CPIMS+ as needed.
• Participation in determining the needs of the community population in social services and implementing social support programs.
• Assessment of needs persons/families in social services and keeping their records.
• Monitoring and evaluating the quality of social services provided by the center.
• Interaction with other subjects of the social protection system, institutions, authorities, FOPs.
• Informing the population about the types and conditions of receiving social services.
• Providing services at the place of residence/stay of the person/family, including with mobile work. Organization of socially important events for children and adults (cultural, educational, preventive, sports, creative). Participation in the socialization and adaptation of children in the team and social environment. project.

Basic requirements:

1. Professional education or experience in the field of social work.
2. Knowledge of the principles of social work, case management and interaction with vulnerable groups.
3. Ability to work with confidential information.
4. Compliance with ethical norms, safety and data protection rules.

Necessary skills and experience:

• Experience in social work (preferred).
• Needs assessment and documentation skills.
• Communication, ability to work with different age groups.
• Resistance to stress and ability to work in complex cases.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in organizing events and working in the community.
