LASKA FOUNDATION in partnership with the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps, with the financial support of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, implements the Ukrainian Agriculture Support Program (UASP).
The purpose of this program is to help restore agricultural activity and overcome the consequences of the war for small and medium-sized agribusiness.
Geography of activity - Mykolaiv, Kherson and Odesa regions.
In connection with the scaling of activities, we are looking for a manager in the team who will be responsible for working with small and medium-sized agribusiness.
Main functional duties
Providing professional advice to farmers regarding opportunities receiving grants, application requirements, submission procedures and necessary documents.
Supporting farmers at all stages of application: communication by phone and other channels, providing clear instructions on further steps.
Maintenance of system documentation regarding interaction with clients (dates of appeals, content of consultations, status applications).
Conducting telephone interviews, visits to the place of economic activity, filling in information on the program platform.
Preparation and defense of business plans of farmers at the donor selection committee.
Interaction with the head office team to solve operational and problematic issues issues.
Preparation of monthly reporting.
Participation in planning, analysis and improvement of current project activities.
Professional knowledge and skills
Financial literacy, understanding of the economy of the enterprise and experience in drafting business plans.
Skills in providing professional advice on agrarian issues.
High level of oral and written communication, the ability to simply explain complex things and conduct negotiations.
Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (sheets, reports, documents).
Fluent command of the Ukrainian language; knowledge of English is an advantage.
We expect from you:
Higher education (agronomy, agricultural economics, agricultural mechanization or other related fields). Experience in the agricultural sector from 3 years (preferred).
Readiness for challenges: independence, mobility and a sincere desire to help communities affected by the war.
Personal qualities: responsibility, organization, analytical thinking, stress resistance, independence in work and the ability to work in a team.
For work in the project must be registered FOP.
