Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing (SMM) Specialist with a strong understanding of the gaming and game development industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that engage our target audience, increase our online presence, and drive brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective social media strategies to promote PLAYM8's brand and projects.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor and analyze social media trends, including audience preferences and emerging platforms, to stay ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate with the game development and art production teams to produce content that highlights our projects and capabilities.
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Track and report on social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in gaming, game development, and social media marketing.
- Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Marketing Specialist or similar role in the gaming or game development industry.
- Fluency in both English and Ukrainian.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for content creation and engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
- Ability to analyze data and generate insights to improve social media strategies.
- Familiarity with gaming culture, trends, and industry developments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic graphic design skills and experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, etc.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Experience with community management and building an online community.
- Knowledge of NFTs, AI technologies, and other emerging trends in gaming.
