As our Social Media Manager, you’ll become an integral part of the brand marketing team and work with key stakeholders throughout the business to develop and grow our social platforms by creating original content that meets key performance objectives, grows Moda as an authority in all of our categories and drives the sale of our productsReporting to the Director, PR & Events, the Social Media Manager will help develop and execute our brand communications strategy on social media, collaborate with the Marketing team to execute key partnerships and initiatives, and manage the day-to-day operation of social media (Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest). The Social Media Specialist will also capture and produce original content to grow follower count and engagement rates on all social platforms.This is a full-time, hybrid position, which is required to be on-site (Industry City Brooklyn) 1+ day per week on Wednesdays.Primary Responsibilities, IncludeUnderstand our brand identity and maintain a cohesive voice across all platformsAlign with marketing and business goals to launch campaigns that drive growth, impressions and engagement around new product launches, updates, partnerships and content releasesBuild, create, galvanize and foster audiences across several emerging platforms through innovative marketing tacticsBring the Moda brand to life through original, well-researched, and tailored content for emerging social media platformsConceptualize, capture, and edit original video content postings for Moda’s social media channels—specifically Instagram Reels and TikTokDevelop a robust influencer strategy that engages a wide network for marketing amplificationExecute seasonal gifting and seeding strategiesConsistently research and report against social media trendsLeverage and exercise data to support active and future marketing campaignsCreate compelling and perfectly-timed photo, video and audio assets that educate consumers about our mission and productsSupport brand content team on the organic media calendar to plan campaigns and drive brand activity accordinglyAssist with the development, delivery, roll-out and reporting of marketing initiatives that drive engagement and acquisition through organic mediaWork cross functionally with our creative and digital marketing teams to drive the brandLiaise with our creative teams to execute clear and concise marketing briefsEfficiently work within tight deadlines to write concise, well-polished content with powerful calls-to-actionExpand knowledge of social media, emerging photo, video and audio platforms, marketing trends and best practicesOther duties as assigned including presentations, proofing, assistance on event production, and creative thinkingQualifications/Ideal Experience5+ years of experience in social media and/or digital content creationA bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fieldExpert level experience creating, posting, and analyzing content performance on social platforms Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest (required)Familiarity with Social Media reporting tools Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, or Later Experience within the luxury fashion or beauty industry (a plus)Demonstrated ability to execute successful social/digital campaigns Highly engaged on social networking sites with a passion for digital innovation Ability to analyze social performance data and summarize strengths and opportunitiesExceptional project and analytical skills with experience in social and digital analytics (e.g. core metrics, google analytics, brand watch and social platform analytics)Highly organized and able to multitask; maintaining clear and proactive flow of communication and ownership of tasksStrong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good relations internally and externally.
