SOC Analyst (Tier 1)

We are looking for a responsible and dedicated SOC analyst to help protect our customers from complex cyber threats.

In this position, you will be responsible for 1st level support, work side-by-side with global customers and ensure rapid response and resolution of issues.

Work schedule: Shift schedule.

Our client is a cybersecurity company that protects organizations by preventing bot attacks, digital fraud and abuse. Their core product is a platform that protects businesses from sophisticated bot attacks, fraud and account abuse. Today, we test the security of more than 20 trillion interactions per week for the largest companies and Internet platforms.

Project

As part of the SOC team, you will work in cross-functional collaboration with the RnD and Research teams to optimize real-world cyber attack detection and mitigation capabilities times Together, we are disrupting the cybercrime economy. We hope you can join us in this endeavor.

Responsibilities:

  • Support customers (Level 1) in real time and provide professional technical answers
  • Analyze customer traffic to identify undetected threats and false registrations using primarily Elasticsearch and BigQuery (SQL)
  • Work side-by-side with customers providing detailed incident reports
  • Communicate with international customers and ensure rapid response and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with RnD and Research teams to optimize real-time cyber attack detection and mitigation capabilities
  • Design, plan and implement new processes and automation for internal use
  • Work in shifts within the scope of work

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English, excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Passion for data, security and customer service
  • Hands-on experience (1+ year) of working with the analysis of large and complex data sets (data manipulation, statistical analysis, conclusions, etc.)
  • Knowledge of web architecture and protocols (CDN, HTML, DOM, JS, IPv4/v6, etc.)
  • Understanding of the cyber security threat landscape
  • Proficiency in Kibana for log analysis, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work in Eastern Time Zone

An advantage will be:

  • Proficiency in SQL and JSON
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in related fields
