SMM manager (PEN Ukraine)

Ukrainian PEN is a cultural and human rights public organization that unites Ukrainian journalists, writers, scientists , publishers, translators, human rights defenders. The administrative team is looking for an SMM manager who will work with PEN pages in social networks.

Responsibilities

• preparing and updating the SMM strategy of the Ukrainian PEN
• drawing up and implementing a content plan for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp: writing texts, creating visuals (independently and together with a designer) and videos, photography, photo selection, coordination of online broadcasts of events
• generation and implementation of ideas, tracking results
• monitoring of infofield: Ukrainian culture, human rights
• communication with Ukrainian authors and interaction with PEN information partners to create joint content for PEN social networks
• basic targeting settings
• communication with subscribers
• attending Ukrainian PEN events in Kyiv to create content for social networks
• preparing email newsletters
• readiness for short business trips several times a year with the PEN team within Ukraine to create content for social network (preferred)

Requirements

• 1 year of work experience as an SMM manager
• high copywriting skills
• ability to use graphics and photo editors
• ability to take photos/record videos on a mobile phone for social networks
• ability to use Meta Business Suite
• command of the English language at the B1/B2 level< /li>
• competent Ukrainian language
• basic video editing skills for social networks
• familiarity with Ukrainian literature, culture and human rights issues
• high level of motivation and self-organization
• initiative, creativity
• desire to join a valuable and socially important cause

• full employment ( but there is an opportunity to discuss the combination with additional projects)
• hybrid work schedule (remotely and in the Kyiv space of PEN Ukraine on Podil with Starlink and a generator)
