Role overview:

Rockets Tech is actively seeking a Site Reliability Engineer who can design and manage our digital infrastructure for optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Administration: You’ll be responsible for overseeing our server and cloud infrastructures across platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, and Google Cloud.
• Web Hosting and Domain Management: You’ll handle the administration of our websites, landing pages, and other online assets, including domain renewals.
• Database Deployment and Administration: Working with databases, including deployment and maintenance.
• Cloud Solutions Proficiency: Managing cloud services from providers like AWS, DigitalOcean, CloudFlare, GCP, and Kubernetes.

Requirements :

• 3+ years of experience in IT and/or information security: Demonstrated expertise in IT operations and security practices.
• Scripting and Automation Skills: Understanding of programming languages (Python, Bash/Shell scripts, SQL, PowerShell) for automation and integration.
• Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, DigitalOcean, CloudFlare, GCP, and Kubernetes): Proficiency in managing cloud services across different providers.
• Experience configuring security policies for Google Workspace/Azure/AWS: Familiarity with setting up security measures in these cloud platforms.
• Experience with Terraform, GitLab, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Docker, Docker Compose, PowerBI, HaProxy, LEMP, and CloudFlare: Proficiency in these tools and technologies, which cover infrastructure as code (Terraform), version control (GitLab), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki), containerization (Docker), and more.
• English Language: Intermediate or higher proficiency (both written and spoken).

Would be a plus:

• Security and Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with information security management systems (such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST) is essential.
• Experience working with databases (deployment and administration): Ability to set up, manage, and optimize databases.
• DNS management: Handling domain name system (DNS) configurations.
• Experience working with operating systems (Windows, Linux,MacOS): Familiarity with different OS environments.
