Site Reliability Engineer in DMarket (acquired by Mythical Games)

Our experienced DevOps team is looking for a colleague Site Reliability Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring high availability, performance and security of APIs and backend services;
• Participate in SRE 24/7/365 on-call rotation to ensure the successful operation of critical applications;
• Collaborate with development and security teams to develop the infrastructure required to deploy scalable and reliable applications;
• Collect and evaluate data about operating systems and applications to help optimize performance and identify problems;
• Participate in consulting on issues of system design, managing platforms, and capacity planning;< /li>
• Perform load testing to identify bottlenecks and other areas for improvement before applications go live;
• Regularly review existing infrastructure for opportunities to improve, reduce costs and increase security;
• Development and maintenance of operational and procedural documentation for services and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer or other infrastructure-focused engineering role;
• 3+ years of commercial experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem;
• 3+ years experience with Terraform (+Terragrunt) or Crossplane (will be a big advantage);
• Experience in launching production systems through cloud providers (preferably GCP);
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, such such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis (setup/tune/monitor);
• Experience with at least one of the programming languages ​​- Golang, Python, Java, etc.;
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.;
• Experience with message brokers - RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.;
• Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault, Google KMS ;
• Skills in configuring monitoring and alerting systems (preferably Grafana/Prometheus stack).

Will be a plus:

• Interest in the game industry;
• Technical English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).
