With over 887 million reviews and opinions of nearly 8 million businesses, travelers turn to customers to find deals on accommodations, book experiences, and reserve tables at delicious restaurants. They discover great places nearby as a travel guide company available in 43 markets and 22 languages. We seek passionate engineers with experience in Python, Java, Ansible, PostgreSQL, CentOS, and Alma Linux to help optimize and automate the infrastructure and deployment processes. The client is currently involved in several types of systems migrations, within both the scope of on-prem to AWS/cloud-native migrations and on-prem data centers to alternate on-prem migrations. As a SiteOps Engineer, you will be involved in designing and implementing how the client performs those migrations, testing them, and executing them with a “no surprises in production” mindset. About SiteOps: The Site Operations Team at the project is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the core systems that power and support the client’s website. It includes systems in private data centers and over a hundred accounts in AWS. The scope of responsibilities is vast and would take an entire page to list here. Suffice it to say that they are the go-to team for questions about the interface boundaries between these two halves of the company and the deep inner workings of the legacy half. About The SiteOps Team: as an Operations Engineer on the SiteOps team, you will be a force multiplier for the engineering & operations teams, delivering tooling & infrastructure that not only has a direct impact on day-to-day operations but also helps contribute to the future evolution of infrastructure & engineering.
