Reporting directly to the President, you will lead a dynamic team to optimize production processes, ensure quality standards, and enhance overall efficiency to meet our strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:Operational Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.Multi-Site Management: Oversee all aspects of operations across multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistency, standardization, and adherence to best practices.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.Supply Chain Management: Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize lead times, and ensure timely delivery of materials.Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality assurance programs to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.Safety and Compliance: Champion a culture of safety and compliance across all manufacturing sites, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor operational performance, track progress, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments such as engineering, finance, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment and integration of operational activities with overall business objectives.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard operations and minimize disruptions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven track record of successful leadership in a senior operations role within a manufacturing environment, preferably with multi-site experience.Demonstrated expertise in operational strategy development, process optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels of the organization.Experience in change management, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.Location: Commutable within the Minneapolis area, this role is eligible to work on a hybrid schedule and can anticipate up to 40% travel.
