Senior UX/UI Designer in Edvantis

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to join the dynamic team of our US-based Partner who is a leading provider of innovative safety solutions for schools and educational institutions. Their mission is to enhance the security and well-being of school communities by delivering cutting-edge technology solutions.

This role is crucial to the development and enhancement of our Customer’s ecosystem, ensuring that our applications are designed with a strategic and user-centered approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both UX strategy and visual design, with extensive experience in creating seamless and engaging user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Run design strategy sessions to align business objectives with the user needs
• Conduct comprehensive user research and data analysis to inform design decisions
• Develop and implement design strategies for new applications, ensuring they fit within the overall Customer’s ecosystem
• Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and test design concepts
• Collaborate closely with product and development teams to iterate on designs based on feedback
• Leverage the existing design patterns to address user problems effectively
• Develop new application-specific design patterns as required
• Design elegant and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience
• Maintain a balance between UX and visual design, ensuring both aspects are well-integrated
• Collaborate with developers during the implementation phase
• Conduct usability testing and resolve any design issues that arise during the development;
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on various applications
• Proven experience in leading UX strategy and visual design efforts
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar ones
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Level of English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
