The Opportunity Svitla Systems Inc.islooking for aSenior Unreal VFX Artist/ Niagara for afull-time position (40hours per week) inUkraine. Our client isanaward-winning animation, game development, and visual effects company. The studio has assembled ateam ofartists and engineers from the top film, game, andVR studios, including IndustrialLight + Magic, Weta, Disney, Epic Games, Microsoft, Activision-Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Digital Domain, Within, and more. The team members have vast experience creating blockbuster movies, AAA games, virtual entertainment, premiereVR andAR experiences, hit television series, and commercials. They have worked onsome ofthe most renowned franchises inthe world, including Star Wars, DCComics, Marvel, Transformers, Avatar, and more. Requirements: 7+ years ofproduction experience using game engines tocreate real-time VFX with asupporting body ofwork. 5+ years ofexperience in Unreal Engine. Experience inusing Unreal’s Niagara tocreate fxwith asupporting reel Ageneral understanding ofanimation/modeling/texturing and instancing pipelines Excellent sense ofscale, timing, detail, form, texture and color Ability totechnically deconstruct visual effects from other game and film references Deadline conscious. Able tomanage and organize work tomeet all deadlines. Able toadapt when changes are required. Comprehensive understanding oftechnical considerations for VFX, including rendering efficiency considerations. Awillingness tochallenge yourself and tofind solutions tothose challenges. Solid understanding ofshader and texture creation and application. Good spoken English isamust ! Will beaplus: Ability toskip the engines and gostraight tothe GPU when necessary. Experience inHoudini, including digital assets for Houdini Engine inUnity/Unreal/Maya. Experience inMaya. The ability toread and write shader source code using HLSLor GLSL Responsibilities: Create the highest quality real-time visual and particle effects, both inappearance and performance, while adhering tothe project’s artistic vision. Collaborate closely with the design, animation and art teams tocreate exciting, eye-catching and realistic effects that take the game experience tothe next level. Offer creative solutions todesign challenges. Responsible for avariety ofaspects ofreal-time vfx production, from design, creation &simulation all the way tooptimization and qualityassurance.
