Senior Unity Developer

The Client Development Team needs a  Software Engineer eager to learn and grow with our Game Innovation team to work in Unity. You will work with engineers, producers, designers, artists and sound engineers to assist H5G in creating novel game experiences.

Responsibilities :

• Create clean, efficient, well-tested code and Unity object structures.

• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the SDLC

• Work with team to brainstorm and ideate new game concepts in Unity

• Improve existing framework to accommodate new features.

• Direct self and others to identify tasks and build game components efficiently to spec.

• Analyzing, organizing, and optimizing code

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to improve products

• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies

Requirements/Skills:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer (5+ yrs)

• Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management

• Good sense of 2D game design concepts and communication skills.

• Ability to identify broader workflow and manage critical paths for self and others.

• Familiarity with Unity workflow and script/event lifecycles.

• Knowledge of C#, Unity, JSON, and Perforce (Bonus: C++, Java, JavaScript & React).

• Comfortable with network programming and data structures; client-server relationship.
• Thorough understanding of Agile Methodologies
