The Senior Telecom Engineer is part of a team that performs design, development, testing, implementation, and support. The Senior Telecom Engineer is responsible for O&M tasks for routing services in telecom networks with a primary focus on IP/IMS Networks. The person in this role will work collaboratively with the internal team and external customers to ensure timely delivery of solutions and unparalleled customer support.

- SQL skills including the ability to organize and optimize SQL queries in a MySQL/MariaDB environment.
- Experience with Linux (CentOS/Rocky) with expertise in security, troubleshooting and scripting(Bash)
- CLI configuration capabilities with VLANs and VPN tunnels
- Experience with Apache/Tomcat including security configuration
- Networking/server management experience including Linux server, networking equipment, network cabling, fiber, power supplies and UPS with a focus on Cisco switches, routers and firewalls.
- Must be flexible and able to multi-task, while responding to the changing business environment and demands
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
- Extensive telecom signaling experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organization skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Quick thinking with the ability to devise/implement unique and innovative solutions to resolve issues and concerns
- Extensive knowledge of Linux and server management
- Ability to configure, management and troubleshoot networking
- C/C++ Software development experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science is desirable.
- 10-12 years of telephony networking experience
- 5-7 years of softwaredevelopment experience
- 5-7 Years of SQL experience in a MySQL/Maria DB environment
- 5-7 years of experience in a technical support role
