Senior Technical Product Manager in Hitachi Energy

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the development of the next generation of Asset Performance Management for current and new markets. The position is accountable for the long-term success and cohesion of the core platform upon which Hitachi Energy’s Lumada Asset Performance Management Solutions are developed.

The Senior Technical Product Manager will collaborate with geographical dispersed customer facing and product development teams to define product goals and vision. A person in this role will contribute to the product roadmap, from translating customer requirements to product backlog prioritization. Excellent Communications Skills, Process-orientation and data driven mindset are critical to success in this global role.

You Background:

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or in a related field of study 
• Have an end user working experience in one of the following industries: Transmission and Distribution, Power Generation, Renewables, Manufacturing or Oil and Gas. 
• 10+ years of experience working in product management in a software product development organization. 
• Deep Knowledge of Asset Performance Management, Enterprise Asset Management and/or adjacent software markets 
• Understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC) 
• Experience working with agile product management platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, interface design tools, and process mapping applications 
• Understand micro-services, cloud environments, distributed computing for high-availability. 
• Demonstrated ability to work with Quality Assurance, Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Customer Support Teams 
• Excellent communication and project management skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
