Senior System Engineer in ABCloudz

Weare currently seeking adedicated and experienced Senior System Administrator tomaintain and develop our internal production infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have apassion for ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient and efficient and possess the skills and vision necessary toautomate, optimize, and reduce costs associated with our infrastructure.Requirements:Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, Information Systems orrelated field; Master’s preferred;Minimum of2+years ofexperience with Proxmox virtualization environments, including expertise inlive migration, high-availability configurations, and clustering setups;Atleast 5years ofexperience innetwork management, specifically with Mikrotik routers and switches, including astrong understanding ofDHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, routing, switching, NAT, and bonding;Solid background inboth Windows and Linux system administration;Proficiency inmanaging Active Directory and scripting with Bash and PowerShell;Experience with Linstor orsimilar storage solutions and thorough understanding ofbackup and restoration strategies for complex environments;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability towork inafast-paced, dynamic environment;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with anability toexplain complex technical issues tonon-technical stakeholders.Responsibilities:Maintain and develop the internal production infrastructure;Implement strategies toensure infrastructure resiliency and cost efficiency;Automate and optimize infrastructure processes;Design and maintain arobust, secure, and scalable Proxmox virtualization environment;Implement and manage Mikrotik network configurations ensuring efficient routing, switching, and network services;Develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems;Automate repetitive system administration tasks using Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, orPuppet;Participate inthe design and execution ofbackup and restoration procedures;Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead resolution efforts;Maintain documentation for system architectures, configurations, procedures, and service records;Contribute tothe continuous improvement oftheIT operations bystaying informed ofnew technologies and best practices.Will beaplus:Experience with configuration management and automation tools such asAnsible orPuppet;Familiarity with containerization technologies such asDocker;Knowledge ofmonitoring and logging solutions like Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, and Prometheus;Experience with VPN solutions like SoftEther.Weoffer:Working with the industry-leading partners and customers;Friendly teams, experienced colleagues, and perfect work equipment;Opportunities for career growth and raising professional skills;Comfortable offices inthe city center ofKharkiv/Kyiv;English language courses;Decent salary, tax assistance.
