The international group of companies "Tangram" with offices in Canada, Germany and Ukraine is looking for candidates for the position of Senior System Administrator (with extensive experience with Linux / Unix) to work remotely or in one of our development offices in Ukraine. Our offices are located in the cities of Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Odesa, Uzhhorod, Mukacheve, and we are planning to open development offices in several other cities of Ukraine. the opening of a new office is planned, but the option of "remote" work is also possible.

Working hours: At the moment, all company vacancies are considered full-time (8 hours a day, 40-hour work week), but the work schedule is determined separately and approved by the technical director. Our offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. We treat students and education with understanding.

Salary: decent (depends on the qualifications of the applicant).

Our specialization: Our the main specialization is the provision of Managed Services (administration of web servers and network equipment) to corporate clients, the provision of servers for rent in the world's leading data centers and the provision of Internet security. obtaining the position of head of the department and further growth to the technical director of the group of companies. Preference will be given to a candidate with serious experience of using Linux / Unix in the field of hosting and/or Internet provisioning and experience of managing a technical department. The employee will take an active part in the development of new Internet services and products. Actually working at the intersection of R&D / NOC / TIER 3 technical support. The range of projects we are engaged in is quite wide, including: hosting provision, Internet provision, cloud solutions, IPTV, antiDDoS solutions.

Job duties:

• coordination of the work of technical support departments and R&D (Research & Development);
• development and implementation of new products and services;
• providing managed services for VIP clients;
• control of the most important elements of IT infrastructure, including NOC infrastructure;
• helping junior system administrators in solving complex issues related to the installation of new servers, OS problems, hardware;
• configuration, installation, monitoring of active network equipment networks, servers, services;
• documentation of infrastructure, products, instructions, procedures, etc.

Requirements (knowledge, experience):

• thorough knowledge of Linux / Unix;
• experience working with active network equipment: switches/routers (Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, ZTE and etc.) (installation, search and troubleshooting);
• experience in the field of hosting provision, Internet provision or in the field of telecommunications;
• knowledge of virtualization technologies ProxMox, KVM, VMware, OpenVZ, etc.;
• ability to understand bash/shell scripts, Perl, PHP;
• English for correspondence mail and IM services (mandatory)
