ABOUT THE POSITION

The Department of Economic Security ICRC is looking for a highly qualified Senior specialist in the organization of financial and economic assistance to the population who will join our team in Kharkiv. This position involves participation in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the economic security program of the ICRC. The EcoSec Specialist will perform basic field and office work related to the implementation and monitoring of ICRC's economic security program. The work is carried out under the close supervision and guidance of the immediate supervisor.

Start date: April 2026

YOUR MAIN DUTIES AND TASKS

• Participate in the development, planning and implementation of project activities within the scope of your duties
• Carry out selection, registration, verification of beneficiaries, distribution, follow-up and implementation of all activities within the scope of responsibility
• Prepare action plans for project implementation in accordance with established goals, deadlines and internally agreed coordination mechanisms
• Perform regular trips to the field and monitor activities of the unit in accordance with internally established tools and procedures
• Conduct data entry and reporting, ensure proper interaction with the responsible person in project management
• Administer and organize the beneficiary database
• Prepare reports on the results of field trips and minutes of meetings in accordance with the recommendations provided
• Provide administrative support

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this position, you must meet the following criteria: criteria:

• Citizenship of Ukraine or permanent residence permit
• Certificate of complete general secondary education, technical education or professional or higher education in the relevant field
• Good command of English and Ukrainian languages (oral and written)
• 2-3 years of work experience in a similar field of activity
• Experience of working in a non-governmental or international organization will be advantage
• High motivation, team spirit, commitment to humanitarian principles
• Flexibility, enthusiasm, willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and under supervision
• Ability to effectively organize time and set priorities
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and build good working relationships relations
