Senior Software Engineer, Web @ TuneIn in TuneIn

We’re expanding our team in Poland, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our 5-person Web team. This is a small but mighty full-stack team, working primarily with modern Javascript and Typescript technologies, responsible for a vast ecosystem of products, such as TuneIn.com, desktop apps, audio embedded players, Google Home, Alexa, and HTML TV apps, among others.

With a high reach of 75 MM monthly active users, 1.3 B monthly listening hours, 200+ connected surfaces, and presence in over 200 countries & territories, we believe your contributions can have a meaningful impact in helping us transform the way people consume live audio around the world. 

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with an emphasis on client-side, web technologies
• Experience owning architecture and design decisions on a large-scale consumer website
• Full stack experience, including building APIs
• Extensive experience collaborating with Product and Design
• Experience working in Agile environments

Skills & Technical Abilities 

• Expertise in JavaScript - You love JavaScript and understand closures, lexical scope, and prototypical inheritance
• Expertise in React
• Proficiency in modern web technologies
• Fully comfortable taking ownership of end-to-end architecture documentation
• Experience with Node .js is a plus

,[Cooperate with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to define, architect, and develop new features , Be an ambassador for best Web practices to advise on its capabilities and limitations, and share your knowledge with the team , Contribute to our codebase by writing clean, tested, and observable code , Take wireframes and/or high-fidelity comps and translate them into robust, yet simple, efficient,and functional code , Have ownership over everything you ship; you would never call code “released” until you are confident it’s correct , Evaluate, improve, and optimize code ]
