Senior Software Engineer, Streaming Київ, Львів, віддалено Location: Lviv, Ukraine (Remote) The Role The Streaming Team isresponsible for processing, transcoding, and distributing much ofTuneIn’s exclusive audio content. Wehave built ahighly-available distributed platform for streaming live audio atinternet scale. Our stack isamodern architecture ofcontainerized microservices written inGo running inaKubernetes cluster using AWS infrastructure (with Lambdas, CloudFront, Aurora, DynamoDB, Kafka, etc.). Our platform must support features such asdynamic adinsertion, dynamic content replacement, live rewind, and isdesigned toplay streams 24/7 without interruption for maintenance orevents such asnode failures. Wehave arich golang codebase ofover 200K lines ofcode, with ZERO legacy code tomaintain. Our diverse problem set includes real time streaming, distributed caching, large dataset processing, audio encoding, high availability and fault-tolerance. What weare looking for 5+years ofsoftware engineering experience, with atleast 3years experience working with scalable and distributed backend systems Strong foundation indatabases, SQL and NoSQLtechnologies. Experience building backend services/microservices Experience designing APIs for use bymultiple stakeholders Experience inGo oranObject Oriented language (Rust, C++, C#, Java, etc) isrequired Experience with AWS isdesirable but not necessary Experience with Kafka isdesirable but not necessary Experience with Kubernetes and Docker are desirable but not necessary Experience with media encoding standards, containers and streaming isdesirable but not necessary Experience with HLS streaming isaplus, but not required Experience with gRPCis aplus, but not required Superior communication and writing skills.
