To learn more, visit edg.io.Job Purpose:The Console team is responsible for building and maintaining the Edgio Developer Console, the web application that our customers use to deploy and configure their own apps on Edgio infrastructure. The Console team also provides REST APIs that developers use to deploy and manage their CDN and Serverless configurations programmatically. In this role, you will work with other Full-stack Engineers, QA, Product, and Design teams to implement new features and improvements.Responsibilities:Implementing new features and fixing bugs in the Edgio developer console and other services supporting it. Writing automated tests to cover those changes. Ensuring the quality, security and scalability of the software. Monitoring, scaling and improving the infrastructure powering the developer console. Taking part in architectural discussions Adding value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments/suggestions and enforcing best practices. Collaborating with the product to define and estimate the work on new features. Collaborating with other teams to get features integrated and released on the platform. Participating in daily standups and sprint ceremonies every two weeks. Taking part in on-call shifts spread across the whole engineering team. Qualifications:5 years of professional Full-stack software development experience using Ruby on Rails (or similar) on the backend and React (or similar) on the front Extensive use of PostgreSQL or similar databases Strong experience running and monitoring applications on AWS (or other cloud providers) Fluent in English and able to work with remote teammates.
