You’ll have the ability tomentor more junior tomid-level engineers.Weaim tofoster anEngineering culture that emphasizes full-stack development teams empowered tomake asmany decisions aspossible intheir technical direction and processes.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Product, UX, QA, and Engineering teams tocreate high quality softwareBeahands-on part ofamultidisciplinary team tobuild next-generations software products and solutionsBeaccountable for delivering and supporting applications inaproduction environmentBuild front-end websites using Client and Server side rendering technologiesBuild back-end microservices with well-defined APIsMentor other engineers, champion team needs, and get involved with strategic decisionsRequirements:Professional experience working within software engineering teams5+years ofrelevant production work experience infull-stack web development Preferably using Node.js/Typescript and ReactTrack record ofsuccess interms ofability toexecute projectsExperience breaking product requirements into manageable engineering tasks and working with ateam tocomplete themAwillingness totake abstract business needs and problems, and work with product and engineering peers todetermine tasksAwillingness tochampion team needs and get involved with strategic decisions.Strong experience with API technologiesStrong experience with RDBMs technologiesExperience working with AWSExperience with high-traffic web applicationsUnderstanding ofsystem design, data structures, and algorithms, and experience creating and evaluating technical design documentsBS/MS inComputer Science/EngineeringWillingness towork EST hoursFluent inEnglish (both writing and speaking)Nice tohave:Experience working with full-stack engineering teams that support avertical slice ofthe productFamiliarity with best practices ofSRE (e.g. SLOs, KPIs, postmortems, incident management, toil reduction, etc.)Understanding ofAgile (preferably Scrum), and awillingness topivot and define software development processesExperience owning technical roadmaps and initiatives, and leading cross-team guildsWorking conditions: Note: Client requires work-time overlap within their time zone (specified below).Mon— Fri 9-5 (EST) atleast 6hours overlap with Team
