Responsibilities Weare looking for aSenior Backend Developer, with knowledge ofcloud environments, Kubernetes, spatial analysis and industry grade DevOps practices. AsaSenior Backend Developer inour Backend/ Cloud Infrastructure Team, you will work onour ETLpipelines, ingesting imagery &spatial data, our GIS servers, GCP Cloud Infrastructure &CI/CDpipelines. You will develop and publish robust, scalable microservices, working hand inhand with software engineers and data scientists, with datasets containing data ofhundreds ofmillions ofanalyzed trees. You will develop backend services, and work with awide array ofGCP’s cloud services, including Firestore, Cloud Run &Cloud Functions, Google Workflows, BigQuery and Composer (Apache Airflow) Skills &Qualification Key Skills Weare looking for astrong Backend Developer tojoin our Infra Team. The ideal candidate should have: Atleast 6years’ experience asasoftware engineer Experience developing production grade scaling systems inacloud environment (GCP/ AWS/ Azure) High proficiency with Python (Flask/ Tornado, Pandas) and familiarity with standard REST API development practices Ability toserve asTech Lead, being the go-to person for unique problem solving &architectural decisions Has worked with Kubernetes (YAMLs, Jobs &Deployment, Docker, constructing aCI/CDpipeline) Nice tohave: fluency with spatial analysis inPython. Working with geopandas, rasterio, PostgresGIS Ability towork well inanoffshore team and committed todelivering ontime Soft Skills Weare looking towork with ateam member who iscurious and passionate about technology.
