CHARITY ORGANIZATION "CHARITY FOUNDATION "DEPOL UKRAINE" is looking for like-minded people who share our mission - to provide a dignified life for those who find themselves in difficult life situations circumstances and announces a competition for the vacancy: Senior social worker (Case manager) of the project "Integrated support of vulnerable families" in the city of Odesa.
Duties of a senior social worker employee:
- Determine the basic needs of the beneficiaries using the initial assessment form, and ensure the provision of the necessary services to satisfy them.
- Inform the beneficiaries about the available social services, case management opportunities.
- Assess the needs of vulnerable families, available resources and limitations.
- Determine the medical, housing, legal, economic, educational, psychological, social and informational needs of project clients using the Needs Assessment Form.
- Conduct interviews to assess the situation and needs (in person or by phone) with the client, family members and relatives.
- Develop an individual plan of work with beneficiary families, which specifies the necessary measures, the persons responsible for their implementation and the terms of their implementation, taking into account the wishes of clients and their family members, financial situation, place of residence, physical and psychological state, practical skills of leading an independent life, professional employment.
in the collection of documents necessary for receiving benefits, assistance and services. - Coordinate activities between institutions, organizationspits providing assistance to forcibly displaced persons.
- Perform monitoring in the case management process. Evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the individual action plan. Maintain professional records and prepare appropriate reports.
- Cooperate with project specialists.
- Perform other assignments of the regional project manager.
13. Adherence to policies, namely:
- Adherence to a Zero Tolerance Approach to Sexual Exploitation, Violence and Harassment (SEAH) and commits to work in accordance with the Vincentian values of DEPOL UKRAINE.
- Adherence to the Code of Conduct for Employees and Volunteers "DEPOL UKRAINE BF" and promotion of the values and mission of Depol.
- Adherence to the requirements of the Policy and Procedures for Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults" ("Safeguarding Policy").
- Adherence to the requirements of the Regulation on non-disclosure of data and information related to the Fund's activities.
- In compliance with the requirements of Article 30 of the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State", employees of the foundation must provide services and communicate with each other while working in the foundation exclusively in the state language, namely Ukrainian.
- Subordination to the regional project manager.
Requirements:
- Higher education.
- 2 years of work experience.
- Experience in providing social services, social support and psychosocial support to children and adults.
- Knowledge of methods of redirecting clients to relevant services and organizations.
- Professional knowledge in the field of social work, case management and psychological support.
- Excellent communication skills, punctuality, honesty, confidentiality in work, literacy and responsibility in keeping documentation, stress resistance, attentiveness, ability to work in a team.
- Fluency in the Ukrainian language.
We offer:
- Official employment, work under a fixed-term employment contract until 31.12.2026with the possibility of extending the fixed-term contract.
- Probationary period 2 months.
- Working schedule: 8 working hoursth day from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Day off: Saturday, Sunday.
- Office work.
- Annual vacation 24 calendar days, if benefits are available, additional leave is granted in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
