Technical Skills required: At least 2-3 years of experience for a junior level role and 5+ for mid-level/senior level working as a Big Data (Hadoop/Kafka) Site reliability engineer. High level Knowledge on Hadoop/Kafka platforms and core Hadoop/Kafka components. Knowledge of coding languages like Java or python. Familiar with software development life cycle. Ability to learn new languages and technologies. Should be familiar with Unix/Linux system internals, networking, and distributed systems.
