The Role: As a Senior Shopware Developer, you will be a key member of our development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining e-commerce systems built on the Shopware platform. You'll work closely with project managers, UX/UI designers, and frontend developers to ensure our solutions not only meet but exceed our clients' expectations. Key Responsibilities: Develop high-quality code and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. Ensure robust, scalable, and optimized Shopware implementations. Lead the integration of third-party services and APIs. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback. Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in Shopware development. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Continuously improve existing systems by analyzing business objectives and tackling complex problems. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a PHP backend developer, with at least 2 years working with Shopware. Excellent knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and the Symfony Framework. Extensive experience with Shopware 6 development, including custom plugins and themes. Strong understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Understanding of clean code principles and ability to work according to best programming practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team and communicate in an international environment. Nice to have: Familiarity with performance optimization techniques in Shopware. Experience working with Shopware 5. Knowledge of other e-commerce systems. Understanding of DevOps concepts and experience working with servers and services.
