Anideal candidate will have experience working inthe card-based payment processing world.What you will bedoingSoftware Development Engineer inTest isahands-on technical role that will collaborate with the software engineers onthe Payments Engineering team and own all aspects oftest automation for ateam. Create, maintain, and execute regression, functional, non-functional, and exploratory tests.Additionally, this individual will collaborate with the SDETs inacentral quality team towards advancement ofthe methodologies, tooling, technologies, and frameworks tomeet the quality needs ofPayments Engineering. Participate intool analysis and make recommendations tosupport the tools selection process.Foster aculture oftest automation and ensure test coverage for services owned bythe team.Drive shift-left inSDLC and actively work with development and devops teams for integrating test automation asanintegral part ofthe CI/CD delivery pipeline.Actively participate infunctional requirement and code reviews with architects &developers, communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality, and limitations ofsystems/applications tothe team.Collaborate with program, product, developers right from inception through functional validation tolaunch, while always looking for potential quality issues/bugs and offering triaging and root cause analysis capabilities.Engage inall phases ofthe software lifecycle— design, implement, test, deploy, and support services inproduction.Beproactive and innovative— werely onyour feedback tobuild aworld-class product.Beapart ofateam that believes inthe core values oftransparency, integrity, trust, and joy; ingoing above and beyond what isrequired inorder todothe right thing for our customers and the company; and inhaving fun while doing all this!Requirements10+years hands-on experience intest automation practices with various tools and frameworks for aCloud SaaS environment.Strong experience inbackend functional testing using framework and tools such asPytest, RestAssured, JUnit orequivalent.Experience inbackend performance testing ofhigh volume applications that handles millions ofrequests using Locust orequivalent.Strong OOP experience inlanguages like Python, JavaScript, Java and good understanding ofdesign patterns.Strong experience with databases and querying languages SQL, MySQL, orequivalent.Prior Agile development experience, preferably inaCI/CD environment using CircleCI, Jenkins, Github, orGitlab.Solid understanding ofcloud-native architecture, microservices, CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Argo), GitOps, APIs and APIGateway, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Kafka (MSK), Java, Spring Framework, Python, and AWS services.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability tounderstand and explain complex technical issues toanon- technical audience.Enthusiastic and energetic with aninherent curiosity tobreak code and stress testit!BSinComputer Science orEquivalent.Would beaplusExperience inUI functional testing using Testcafe, Cypress, Selenium orequivalent.Knowledge ofobservability solutions using Grafana, Honeycomb and Open Telemetry.BenefitsAcompetitive salary alongside aflexible compensation package.Aversatile working setup: remote, office-based, orco-working spaces.Access toprofessional development resources such asmentorship programs, tech talks, and training.Comprehensive medical insurance.Complimentary corporate English lessons and conversation clubs with native speakers.Avariety ofcorporate events.
