Who We Are: Inside Real Estate is one of the top 25 Real Estate tech companies in America, serving over 400,000 agents, teams, and brokerages. We’re dedicated to empowering real estate businesses with smart, easy-to-use tools that drive efficiency and success. Our flagship product is a SaaS solution that’s making a big impact in the real estate market, and with a team of over 600 people, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and healthy work environment.
What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer who’s comfortable working without someone looking over their shoulder. You should be able to manage your own tasks, keep yourself organized, and clearly communicate what you’re working on. We need someone who can figure things out on their own and isn’t afraid to find the answers or solutions they need.
Your Role: You’ll be responsible for a specific module of our product “Brokermint.” Most of your work will focus on the back-end (around 70%), but you’ll also need to handle some front-end tasks (up to 30%). We have a dedicated frontend specialist on the team, but you must be able to take a ready design and integrate it with your backend work. Of course, we have code reviews and test coverage, so you’ll be working in a supportive and structured environment.
What You’ll Need: - Ruby on Rails: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
- Frontend: Experience with at least one frontend framework like React or Angular.
- Architecture & Design: Proven experience in making architectural decisions for large-scale web applications and a strong grasp of design patterns.
- Testing & CI/CD: Strong knowledge of testing strategies and continuous integration.
- DevOps Knowledge: Experience with hosting on Heroku or AWS, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Circle CI and GitHub, and experience with Docker.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
- Remote First
- Schedule: Work at the times that suit you best, with just 2 important hours of overlap required with your U.S. team each day.
- Long-Term Contract: Stability with a direct contract with a U.S. LLC.
- Unlimited Paid Vacation
- Healthy Culture: A supportive team environment with no toxicity.
- Fun Atmosphere: We have a sense of humor here — our Manager even got an NFT with one of his jokes for his birthday!
Our Hiring Process:
- Initial chat with our HR team.
- Technical interview with our Tech Manager.
- A small, paid project to see how we work together.
