Senior ReactJS/Next.js/React Native developer in Sigma Software

A US-based startup calls for a fan of technological progress and development, a Senior Full-Stack Developer, to grab the chance to change the restaurant world! 

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior ReactJS/Next.js/React Native Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position with a scope planned until the end of 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ReactJS, Next.js, and React Native, with a focus on performance optimization and WebSocket experience.

Customer

Early stage, a founder-funded start-up building a new model for sustainable and equitable restaurants bringing environmental and social justice to the fast food world. The project is a highly automated restaurant and cooking line system.

We've been working with the client for 2 years already, and plan to continue our partnership in 2024. The first production release was in 2024.

Project 

The project covers various workstreams, from an Automation (Robotics) Control System to a Supply Chain & Inventory Management System, and a customer-facing next-generation ordering platform.
The current team includes 28 members, including Full-Stack developers, CSS developers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Project managers, and QA. DevOps islocated in Ukraine/Europe. The Designer and Product owners are in the US.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using ReactJS, Next.js, and mobile apps using React Native
Optimize web application performance to ensure a smooth user experience
Implement WebSocket communication for real-time data exchange.
Work with Sanity and deploy applications using Vercel
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements 

At least 5 years of experience in ReactJS/React Native Development
Proven knowledge and experience with Next.js
Strong experience in performance optimization and WebSocket implementation
Familiarity with Sanity and Vercel
Upper-Intermediate level of English
