About the project:
It digitizes the buying experience by indexing every word in videos, demos, and PDF content making them 100% searchable. This digital buying experience increases buyer engagement by drawing prospects in as they search and explore the topics that matter the most to them.

Project country and TimeZone: USA, work in the Ukrainian time zone. Flexible schedule
Age and stage of the project: The project was launched in 2017. Since then it has been constantly improved as the user feedback is gathered. Currently one of the subprojects will need to be developed from scratch.
Methodology: Kanban
The Project team counts 3 backend devs (1 of them is from Digis), a frontend dev, a UI/UX designer (from Digis), a DevOps, a PM, a QA, and a CTO.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in React.
  • Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, and Unit testing
  • Lead experience
  • English proficiency at upper-intermediate level or higher.


Project advantages:
1. A project where expressing your point of view and taking initiative are not only possible but essential for its development.

2. The project is already in production; however, a decision was made to rewrite it from scratch to enhance the user application. The project initialization stage is currently underway.

3. The approach of having the frontend ahead of the backend is employed, allowing one to experience the role of a Product Manager.

4. Flexible working hours, with all calls scheduled around 16:00 — 18:00 Kyiv time.

5. The team is international, but for at least half of the working day, everyone is available and in touch.

6. A loyal and technically proficient CTO with 25 years of experience in managing technical teams.

7. In terms of communication, the CTO is very open, and always ready to help, you can always contact him with any question and this is welcome.

8. For the client, cultural fit is essential and he carefully selects new specialists based on this feature. This means the selected engineer will be as comfortable as possible in the team.
