Senior QA Engineer/Data Analyst

Product company SpaceWhale is looking for a  Senior QA Engineer/Data Analyst to join our team.

Requirements:

• BA/B.Sc. in Statistics / Math / Engineering/ Economy or another quantitative field
• Strong SQL with experience in querying large, complex data sets
• A methodological approach to data and the ability to present the data clearly and efficiently to support business decisions.
• Advanced Excel + knowledge in Python — Strong advantage
• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
• Great Communication skills — someone who can turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations
• At least Upper-Intermediate English level

Will be a plus:

• Python skills for data manipulation
• Master Data Management experience
• AWS and Azure-based services related to data management and analytics
• GIT, Azure DevOps
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgresSQL, MySQL, AWS Aurora, AWS Redshift
• Experience in product-oriented company

Responsibilities:

• Provide QA assistance to Data Engineers on the new BI features development and adoption
• Help troubleshoot data quality issues or data inconsistencies escalated by clients
• Assist Product Owner with data analysis and investigations for new BI features preparation
• Analyzing large, complex data sets representing the behavior of thousands of online traders to address strategic and operational business questions
• Work closely with internal departments to drive insights that will help produce a better product, trading experience, and insights towards monetization and retention improvements.
• Contribute to automated dashboards and reports focused on data monitoring and QA
• Manage multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
