Senior QA Automation Engineer in IT SmartFlex

IT SmartFlex is a Ukrainian product company founded in 2019 as a subsidiary of the leading mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine with the goal of uniting experts in the fields of telecommunications and software.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Participation in the development of the automation strategy and execution plan on the project
• Prioritization of tests for automation
• Development of new automated test cases as new functionality is created
• Starting the automated test suite and evaluate performance, functionality and scalability
• Work with development teams to improve code testing validation as well as timely analysis and resolution of defects
• Evaluate and implement industry best practices, tools and methods to improve the testing process and overall product quality
• Mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and fostering a collaborative environment

Skills required:< /p>

• Experience in developing test automation scripts from 3 years
• Experience in using Selenium/Webdriver, TestNG, Java, Rest Assured
< li>Experience in developing and maintaining test frameworks for UI, API and performance tests
• Experience working in a development test environment
• In-depth knowledge of GIT features: commit history during cherrypick, ability to recover lost changes from git reflog etc. Experience in code review practice
• Experienced user of Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Kibana
• Experience with relational databases
• Ability to obtain and analyze metrics with Prometheus and/ or Grafana
• Experience developing and maintaining GitLab pipelines. Setting up a test environment, running tests, creating test reports
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment
• English - Intermediate +
