Roles :

To analyze the system application, business requirements and responsible for the development and execution of test plan, test scenarios, test cases and quality control process to improve product quality for delivering defect free high quality software systems exceeding business expectations for ISS.

Responsibilities :

• Review and understand end to end business requirements, System / Application design, Integration, and functionalities / feature.
• Review and understand enterprise & solution architectures, design implementation of new features end-to-end considering both functional & non-functional requirements and the entire tech stack frontend, backend, database, middleware, AWS, and DevOps
• Effectively contribute to test plan creation, test strategy creation, develop test scenarios, develop test cases, collect test data, create test batches, perform test cases, report defects, track defect.
• Partner with other automation engineers to create a unified approach to automation across the team
• Develop, execute and maintain automation test scripts, utilities, data sets leveraging commercial and / or open-source tools.
• Contribute in meetings, Scrums, and other inter-team interaction
• Work with support, stakeholders, and developers to aid in replication of software defects.
• Provide guidance in good test design and implementation techniques.
• Prepare effort estimates for testing related tasks / projects.
• Prepare status reports and communicates to stakeholders.
• Propose / follow / develop SOP for all kind of test execution.
  

Nice to have :

— Practice DevOps with automation first mindset, with excellent understanding of branching strategies, version control, best configuration, testing practices, build management, CI / CD pipeline.
— Automate testing of defects and assist with the maintenance of Regression Test suite.
