You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent education
• 3+ years of experience in test automation (or background in development and at least 2 years of experience in test automation)
• 3+ projects in the background

Specialized knowledge :

• strong hands-on experience in Postman API’s and UI test automation frameworks
• solid understanding of application layers and software architecture
• experience with development IDEs and static code analysis tools
• experience with Jenkins, Git
• record of participation in the development of test automation strategy
• experience with performance and stress testing
• experience with Python language

Soft skills & abilities :

• Strong communication and persuasion skills
• Analytical mindset, strategic thinking, ability to take a 360 view of the situation, ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Strong estimation and time management skills, ability to wisely break down and delegate tasks
• Focus on professional development in narrower areas of test automation, significant contribution to the development of others and to the overall AQA expertise

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

Test Automation Engineer is responsible for evaluating software quality through running automated test scripts. They collaborate with the development teams and other key stakeholders for executing various tests.

Senior Test Automation Engineer will work standalone on testing activities and have a deep understanding of types and levels of testing that need to be executed for particular products, as well as an understanding of business KPIs that must be achieved as a result of QA activities.

• working on complex tasks or tasks that need thorough investigation/debugging
• maintaining and further extending of test automation framework
• conducting test automation feasibility analysis
• reviewing the work of teammates, managing test tasks
• running regression suites
• writing test scripts
• analyzing test results and finetuning the test suite
• participating and contributing to planning, grooming, and estimation activities
