Senior Python Engineer (AWS, Kafka) in Luxoft

Project Description:Team is responsible for the building the group of services, which will inject data from upstream systems into Nordstrom Analytical Platform, transform and store. The system will provide access to already aggregated profile. The goal of the project is to sped up delivery of all data, enabling fresher data and quicker action.Also, a candidate must be ready for periodical 12/7 hours of on-call support.Responsibilities:- new features implementation- MR review for other team members- bugfix of existing features- refactor/redesign existing code base- improve test coverage- build and ship product artefacts to dev/prod cluster- infrastructural updatesMandatory Skills Description:- 4 years+ of experience with Python- Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, IAM, Secret manager, KMS)- Apache Airflow- Apache Kafka- Apache Spark- expertise with SQL or DWH- Experience with version control, build, CI/CD tool (preferably GitLab-CI)- Understanding of core concepts of Big Data (Common, Spark etc)- Experience with JIRA, Confluence- ability to work with Java- Familiarity with Agile development methodology (Scrum)- Clear communication skills (will communicate across all regions)- Hands-on experience with on-call supportNice-to-Have Skills:- Experience with Teradata- Practical usage of Kubernetes- Google Cloud Platform- BigData stack experience, especially with Flink, Hive, Trino for SQL- Vault- IaC (pref.
