Senior Python Engineer (AWS, Kafka) in Luxoft

Project Description:Team isresponsible for the building the group ofservices, which will inject data from upstream systems into Nordstrom Analytical Platform, transform and store. The system will provide access toalready aggregated profile. The goal ofthe project istosped updelivery ofall data, enabling fresher data and quicker action.Also, acandidate must beready for periodical 12/7 hours ofon-call support.Responsibilities:—new features implementation—MRreview for other team members—bugfix ofexisting features—refactor/redesign existing code base—improve test coverage—build and ship product artefacts todev/prod cluster—infrastructural updatesMandatory Skills Description:—4years+ ofexperience with Python—Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, IAM, Secret manager, KMS)—Apache Airflow—Apache Kafka—Apache Spark—expertise with SQLor DWH—Experience with version control, build, CI/CD tool (preferably GitLab-CI)—Understanding ofcore concepts ofBig Data (Common, Spark etc)—Experience with JIRA, Confluence—ability towork with Java—Familiarity with Agile development methodology (Scrum)—Clear communication skills (will communicate across all regions)—Hands-on experience with on-call supportNice-to-Have Skills:—Experience with Teradata—Practical usage ofKubernetes—Google Cloud Platform—BigData stack experience, especially with Flink, Hive, Trino for SQL—Vault—IaC (pref.
