Senior Python Developer (AI, AWS) in Koinly

Aesthetics 360 is a pioneering startup in the aesthetics industry, dedicated to connecting patients with top-tier providers through innovative technology. Our platform enhances patient education, supports marketing efforts, and streamlines processes like scheduling and consultations.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our innovative team in building a core backend application for a groundbreaking MedTech startup. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in architecting and developing a cutting-edge application from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

— Design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure using Python and Django
— Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions
— Implement best practices in code organization, performance optimization, and security
— Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and guidelines
— Contribute to the development of microservices and integration with other systems
— Optimize application performance and scalability
— Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Requirements:

— 5+ years of professional experience in Python development
— Strong proficiency in Django web framework
— Proven track record of building complex applications from scratch
— Experience with PostgreSQL database design and optimization
— Familiarity with React and React Native frameworks
— Experience with AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) is strongly preferred

— Experience with RestfulAPI
— Knowledge of microservice architecture and distributed systems
— Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their integration into applications
— Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
— Excellent communication and collaboration skills
— Fluency in English is helpful but not mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:
— Experience with Next.js or Remix frameworks
— Hands-on experience writing Python Lambda functions
— Deep understanding of database optimization techniques
— Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
— Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
