The International Charitable Foundation "Public Health Alliance" announces an external competition for the position Senior Project Specialist: Monitoring and Evaluation (Subsection: Protection and gender-based violence).

Grant program "Restoring population access to medical care" span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: italic; text-decoration: none">Reconnecting People to Care, (hereinafter the RPC Program) is aimed at strengthening the capacity of local health care systems to restore service delivery and meet the needs of communities in health services. The program envisages the implementation of targeted measures to meet the identified needs of communities, as well as measures (RPC Resource Hub) > on strengthening the capacity of the health care system using the best international experience and knowledge.

Protection and gender-based violence is an important component of the projectRestoring access to medical care, aimed at providing comprehensive support to vulnerable sections of the population in communities that visit mobile clinics. This includes the expansion of home care services for people with disabilities and reduced mobility in 4 regions thanks to the expertise of local NGOs (NGO). In addition, the project is aimed at combating genderdue to violence ( GOH) by raising awareness, providing support through a dedicated hotline consultant, distributing Dignity Kits and conducting GOH training for mobile clinic team members.

International Charitable Foundation "Public Health Alliance" is a leading public non-profit professional organization, which in cooperation with state partners andcivil society organizations has a significant impact on overcoming epiepidemics of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and other socially dangerous diseases in Ukraine, by providing financial and technical support to relevant programs that cover more than 300,000 representatives of the most vulnerable segments of the population, which is the highest indicator in Europe. Now the Alliance team includes more than 150 professionals working in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.

Job specifics

Requirements:

  • Experience in a relevant position for at least 3 years (in an international organization will be an advantage).

  • Higher education. Relevant university degree (law, finance, social sciences, etc.)

  • Experience of working with Ukrainian and international organizations in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and the legislation of other countries to ensure control over the targeted use of funds is an advantage is a significant advantage.

  • Practical experience of budget analysis.

  • Practical experience in verifying the intended use of funds. Knowledge of accounting systems and management accounting is a plus.

  • Strong planning and time management skills; willingness to work overtime; ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain an effective comanication with different audiences.

  • Written and spoken Ukrainian.

  • High level of computer skills. Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must. Experience with 1C a plus.

Senior Project Officer: Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

The International Charitable Foundation 'Alliance for Public Health' announces external recruitment to fill the position ofSenior Project Officer Monitoring & Evaluation (Protection & GBV Unit).

GBV and Protection - an important part of the project aims to provide comprehensive support to vulnerable populations in communities visited by mobile clinics. Job Specifications

  • High University Degree. Relevant University degree (Legal, Finance, Social Science etc.)

  • Provide maintainability/support/advice of regional project teams during the project cycle.

  • Provide monitoring of funds usage by the project team.

  • Carry out financial review /audits/verification of the intended use of funds spent during the project implementation. Prepare inspection reports.

  • Ongoing monitoring of usage of funds for regional project teams to comply with regulations of Alliance and relevant donors. 

  • Provide ad hoc advice to program staff on issues related to financial control and undertake other duties as required. 

  • Attend team activities, including meetings within the team and department.
