The recovery and reform support team of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraineannounces a competitionfor the vacant position of senior project manager of the block of professional of education andinvites a qualifiedspecialist for the position:

1. Senior network and infrastructure upgrade manager.

   Main responsibilities:

   Coordination with local authorities:

   • Performance of the functions of a contact person with local authorities for the implementation of subsidies and infrastructure projects; style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">

     Providing recommendations and support to local authorities in compliance with regulatory requirements and project standards;

   • Coordination of infrastructure modernization activities:

     • Collaboration with representatives of development partners and executing agencies to coordinate development, rehabilitation and modernization of infrastructure in the vocational education sector (as needed);

     • Performing the functions of the coordinator of modernization projects implemented by donors and other external partners;

     • Support for the preparation of analytical notes and information materials for decision-making by the Ministry of Education and donors.

     
     

     Support of centers of professional excellence (CEP):

     • Coordinating efforts to modernize the infrastructure for the creation of the CPD;

     • Coordination with professional educational institutions to ensure compliance of documentation of centers of professional excellence with Ukrainian legislation and donor requirements.

     
     

     Assessment of equipment needs:

     • Providing expert assistance in determining and clarifying the needs of the CPD in equipment, ensuring compliance with educational goals and technical standards;

     • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure equipment selection is consistent with current teaching and learning methods;

     
     

     Analysis and reporting:

     • Assisting the Team Lead (Network and Infrastructure Modernization) and the Deputy Minister (on request) to prepare comprehensive reports on the progress and results of modernization and rehabilitation activities for stakeholders, including donors, government agencies and regional partners;

     • Providing expert advice on evaluation and technical review of proposals received through national and international procurement proceduresand tenders.

     
     

     The recovery and reform support team helps the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in implementing priority reforms. The Recovery and Reform Support Team is part of the Ukraine Recovery and Reform Architecture (URA) program, implemented by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in partnership with the European Union to support critical recovery and reform processes in Ukraine.
