Senior Project manager in Luxoft

The platform is a centralized metadata solution to be leveraged by up to 3,000 applications to store, govern, and access metadata for their systems. Metadata includes the information about the data stored and used by an application, such as data dictionaries, data models, data lineage between systems, etc. This information is essential to promote knowledge sharing and transfer by interested parties, and to ensure compliance with Data Governance policies. Beyond supporting data discovery, the Platform tools and standardized metadata are systemically consumed and used to drive data transfer in multiple formats between systems within the organization, as well as externally to Cloud-based solutions used by the clients.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

Maintain portions of the ongoing Book of Work for projects affecting over 40+ internal business analysts and developers, ensuring that all deliverables are clear, well-organized, assigned, and tracked, while ensuring risk-mitigation plans are in place.

Adhere-to and improve-upon the training, policies, and procedures at a project working group level, with an acute focus on consistency, efficiency, and a systemic approach towards how we operate and interact as a team to better manage each project's Book of Work.

Support annual project budgeting activities (requests/justifications)and facilitate any new incremental budget asks based on evolving business drivers.

Curate content for mass communications of affiliated projects, including: Status updates, Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly newsletters, Town Halls, Ad-hoc executive communications.

Adherence to all program and project management training, policies, and procedures

Develop and maintain key relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, executive management, and relevant decision makers

Skills

Must have

Bachelor of Science or Masters degree .

7+ years total work experience with a proven track-record of stability and progressive growth.

Rich experience in a technology organization, specifically software development.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where fire-drill assignments are not uncommon.
